TMM- Determined One

There's actually a story behind this picture...

I was browsing my friend's fanartcentral account and I decided to check out some of the other stuff there, since I don't really go to fanartcentral a lot. I wandered into the Tokyo Mew Mew category, checked out some stuff, and out of the over 400 pictures there, I could only find three pictures featuring Pai. o.o I guess I felt kinda bad for him, so I decided to draw him.

The lineart's a tad shaky... This is because my copic pen's tip is all ragged now and I can't get good lineart out of it anymore, so I used my mom's gel pen. The pen was a little bit "slippery" so it was a bit hard to use, but it's not too bad.

The weird thing is, I actually started out with the hand and the fan. I ALWAYS start with the face.... it felt a bit awkward, but I'm glad I didn't have too much trouble.

Didn't have any references for his fan, so I had to draw it from memory...

I'm actually happy with the way this came out, which is great, because I enjoyed drawing it. I haven't drawn something I was happy with in a while.
